Toronto – September 08, 2026 -- The Fertility Partners (TFP), Canada's largest fertility clinic network, has completed the sale of Illume Fertility, a Connecticut- and New York-based fertility practice, to IVI RMA North America, closing the deal on September 3, 2026.
TFP divests U.S. asset to concentrate capital on Canadian expansion
The transaction removes Illume from TFP's portfolio and redirects the company's capital, resources, and leadership attention toward growth opportunities across Canada. TFP CEO Heather Stark said the move reflects a deliberate portfolio decision, stating the company's strongest opportunities are in Canada and that the sale allows TFP to focus fully on building the country's leading fertility network.
Illume joins IVI RMA's expanding North American fertility network
Illume Fertility, which offers IVF, fertility preservation, donor and third-party reproduction, and advanced reproductive technologies, now operates under IVI RMA North America, part of IVI RMA Global. IVI RMA Global employs more than 5,000 people across over 200 locations in 15 countries.
Companies coordinate closing to maintain continuity for patients and staff
TFP, Illume, and IVI RMA worked jointly through the closing process to support continuity for patients, physicians, employees, and partners. TFP said the transaction reinforces its long-term commitment to growth, clinical quality, operational excellence, and patient experience across its Canadian network, with continued investment planned in capabilities, infrastructure, and technology to strengthen access and clinical outcomes.
