Hemlo Mining Reports 89.9 g/t Gold at South-Rim Zone Near C-Zone
Toronto – September 15, 2026 -- Hemlo Mining Corp. (TSX: HMMC; OTCQX: HMMCF) has returned new assay results from its South-Rim Zone at the Hemlo Gold Mine near Marathon, Ontario, including 89.89 g/t Au over 3.0 metres in hole 6702608, 14.81 g/t Au over 10.0 metres in hole 6702632, and 12.97 g/t Au over 7.0 metres in hole 6702615.
Drilling confirms 500 metres of high-grade mineralization within a 1.5-kilometre target zone
The 2026 program has now demonstrated approximately 500 metres of high-grade mineralization within the interpreted 1.5-kilometre South-Rim horizon, leaving roughly 1 kilometre of additional extent still to be tested. The zone sits just 50 to 150 metres from active C-Zone mining and existing underground infrastructure, a proximity the Company says could lower capital costs and shorten development timelines by leveraging current access rather than new infrastructure.
