Easybill, Debtist link invoicing to AI dunning as payment delays grow
Berlin – November 05, 2026 -- Invoicing platform easybill and receivables management provider Debtist have connected their systems, allowing overdue invoices to move straight into automated, AI-driven dunning as German businesses wait more than 40 days to be paid.
Payment terms in Germany reach their longest since 2019
The average payment term in Germany stood at 32 days in the first half of 2026, the highest level since 2019, according to Creditreform's payment indicator. Payment arrived an average of 8 days late on top of that. The indicator draws on roughly four million invoices.
Combined, businesses wait more than 40 days for money that is already earned.
