Collins Starts FAA-Standard Radio Altimeter Upgrades in 2027

LAS VEGAS – October 22, 2026 -- Collins Aerospace, an RTX (NYSE: RTX) business, will start upgrading its radio altimeters at its service centers in 2027, giving business aviation operators a route to meet new Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) operational standards without replacing existing systems.

Collins upgrades existing altimeter variants instead of requiring replacement

The company is offering simplified upgrade paths for its existing radio altimeter variants. Collins says the upgraded units meet the new FAA requirements and have demonstrated resilience to 5G interference.

Radio altimeters measure an aircraft's height above terrain and feed automatic flight control, cockpit instrument displays and warning systems. Collins designs its units to filter out false altitude returns caused by structures, nearby aircraft or ground features.

Property ID Launches NakedHouse.ai Entitlements Report for Listings

Los Angeles – October 22, 2026 -- Property ID Corporation has launched Entitlements Home Disclosure through NakedHouse.ai, a report that puts zoning-based development rights into the real estate transaction at the time of listing.

Report covers expansion limits, accessory units and permitted uses

The report examines allowable expansion, additional accessory dwelling units, building-height limits, setbacks and permitted uses. Property ID says these details can materially affect how buyers evaluate a property, yet they are often missing when a purchase decision begins. Finding them has traditionally required lengthy research, visits to government offices and a working knowledge of zoning regulations.

Urgent Care Leader Says Convenience Is No Longer Enough

United States – October 21, 2026 -- Urgent care operators must prove quality, outcomes and cost to keep growing, according to UCA Chief Executive Officer Steve Sellars, who says roughly half a million patients use the sector every day.

Partners will demand evidence on quality, utilization and cost

Sellars says access alone will no longer satisfy health systems, employers and payers. He expects them to ask for evidence of quality, outcomes, appropriate utilization, patient experience and cost.

He argues that the organizations that thrive will not be those that see the most patients or run the most centers. They will be those that understand how urgent care fits into the wider healthcare ecosystem.

Industrial Defender Adds Network Monitoring, Risk Signal to OT Platform

Orlando – October 21, 2026 -- Industrial Defender has released a platform update that adds internal network security monitoring (INSM) and a remediation tool called Risk SignalTM, targeting utilities that must comply with the FERC-approved NERC CIP-015-1 standard.

The standard requires entities with high and medium impact BES Cyber Systems to monitor internal network traffic, detect and evaluate anomalies, and retain and protect the resulting data.

INSM learns device baselines and flags deviations

Built into the existing platform, the INSM solution learns each device's baseline communications. It flags new connections, unexpected protocols, anomalous traffic volume and unknown devices communicating.

Each anomaly is correlated with the asset data Industrial Defender maintains, including configuration changes, vulnerabilities and risk score. Operators can see immediately what a network change means to operations, the company said.

Missing Receipt Records Cost Cold Chain as Much as Excursions

Missing Receipt Records Cost Cold Chain as Much as Excursions

Global – – October 21, 2026 -- A shipment that stays within temperature specification but arrives without a receipt-level record triggers the same escalation, investigation and replacement workflow as a confirmed excursion, according to cold chain assurance analysis aimed at life sciences and pharmaceutical distributors.

Documentation gaps now carry the same operational weight as temperature failures

Temperature control, meaning validated packaging, qualified carriers and thermal protection, is distinct from temperature documentation, the ability to prove conditions held when a decision is needed. Many organizations treat documentation as a logistics function rather than a quality deliverable at the final hand-off. Without evidence, receiving teams default to caution, and reships, quality investigations and customer service escalations follow.
