SAN FRANCISCO – October 29, 2026 -- Raven Resonance opened pre-orders for Raven Prism, a standalone Linux computer built into prescription-style eyewear, with a fully refundable $49 deposit and first shipments to early adopters expected in January 2027.

The company is billing the device as the first "Ambient Computer." Pre-orders follow its public debut and demos at Augmented World Expo (AWE) 2026. Raven Prism targets creative professionals, makers, developers and enterprise users.

The device runs RavenOS, the company's Linux-based operating system, on a quad-core 64-bit ARM processor. It supports native Linux applications, SSH access and developer customization, and gives low-level access to the operating system. More than 25 applications ship through its own app store.
