Ambler Mining District joint venture underpins copper, zinc, cobalt exploration
Trilogy Metals holds a 50% interest in Ambler Metals LLC, a joint venture formed after South32 Limited exercised its option in December 2019 to take an equal stake. Ambler Metals owns 100% of the Upper Kobuk Mineral Projects, spanning roughly 190,929 hectares in the Ambler Mining District, which hosts the Arctic volcanogenic massive sulfide deposit and the Bornite carbonate replacement deposit. The deposits contain copper, zinc, lead, gold, silver and cobalt mineralization.
