TrueLoyal Opens Loyalty Data to AI Assistants via MCP Beta

San Antonio – October 14, 2026 -- TrueLoyal has launched a beta of its Model Context Protocol (MCP) connector, letting loyalty teams query member and transaction data from the AI assistant of their choice and get answers in the same conversation, without a reporting ticket.

The beta is live for select Rewards customers. General availability is scheduled for later this year.

TrueLoyal MCP replaces ticket-and-wait reporting with plain-language queries

Loyalty teams typically get program answers through dashboards and reporting requests. A question about which members are lapsing, or how many members a brand can email, usually means a ticket, a data pull and a wait. By the time the answer arrives, the moment to act has often passed, according to TrueLoyal.

MCP is the open standard that lets AI assistants connect to business software a company already runs. TrueLoyal says most loyalty teams are small. The program owner often also runs email, promotions and reporting, with no analyst available.

Beta supports member and transaction analysis, including points liability

In the beta, teams can search and analyze member and transaction data. Example queries named by the company include:

  • How many members signed up last week
  • Which member referred the most new members
  • Member segmentation by purchase recency, frequency and spend
  • How many members can be emailed, by subscription status and opt-outs
  • Last campaign performance
  • Current points liability

Teams can also ask the MCP to build a custom dashboard and then add to it, remove from it or change it without filing a request. TrueLoyal says this lets teams pull points liability, campaign results and member trends on their own, framing the program's case in terms a CFO uses.

CEO Jacek Materna described the release as step one and said the assistant will next move from reporting on a program to running it.

Access is opt-in, off by default and read-only during beta

MCP is disabled by default, and a brand must enroll before using it. Each user can reach only the data their TrueLoyal account is already permitted to see. Every answer is drawn from the brand's own program data in TrueLoyal.

The beta starts with read access only, so teams keep control of the program while they adapt to the workflow. VP of Product Caleb Fox said the tool removes the need for an in-house analyst for routine member questions.

Eligible brands activate through the TrueLoyal admin banner

Eligible brands can activate the beta from the TrueLoyal admin banner and connect their AI assistant. Access requests go through the TrueLoyal account representative.
