Bangkok – October 16, 2026 -- World Gym Corporation (TWSE: 2762), Taiwan's largest fitness operator, has signed a lease for a second Bangkok club of more than 3,000 square meters at S-OASIS, a commercial and office development by SET-listed Singha Estate. The deal is the first phase of a plan to open 30 fitness centers in Thailand within five years.
S-OASIS club is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2027
The club will serve office workers, corporate tenants and residents of the surrounding urban community. World Gym said the lease reflects its strategy of partnering with established property developers to secure sites in major commercial and mixed-use projects.
John Caraccio, President of World Gym Corporation, called Thailand a "beachhead for growth across Southeast Asia." He said the company is working with major real estate groups, including Singha Estate, to speed up its rollout.

World Gym Samrong, at Imperial World Samrong in the Bangkok metropolitan area, opened presales in late September 2026. The club offers strength and cardio equipment, functional training zones and technology-enabled member services.
Sivilai Pinsuwan, General Manager of World Gym Thailand, said the 1,000-member milestone shows pent-up demand for large-format fitness centers in the country. He said the response gives the company momentum for its next location.
World Gym plans to bring HYROX to Thailand later this year
World Gym is already HYROX's largest partner in the Asia-Pacific region, with the collaboration covering its clubs in Taiwan. The company plans to extend the partnership to Thailand, where HYROX Bangkok drew more than 17,000 athletes in March.
The Thailand push follows World Gym Corporation's 2024 acquisition of World Gym International, which gave it ownership of the global brand, its intellectual property and its operating rights. The brand was founded in California in 1976.
