XUZHOU, China – October 27, 2026 -- XCMG Machinery (SHE: 000425) ranked No. 202 on the 2026 Fortune China 500, up 10 places from the previous year, and kept its lead among Chinese construction machinery companies.
The company attended the 2026 Fortune China 500 Summit in Chengdu on Oct. 22. Business leaders, entrepreneurs and scholars gathered there to discuss how companies can strengthen their competitiveness. The ranking itself was released in July.
Shen Yan, chair of XCMG Machinery's labor union, accepted the Fortune China 500 certificate at the summit. The list uses a methodology consistent with the Fortune Global 500 and covers both listed and unlisted companies.
XCMG Names Five Priorities for Its Transformation
XCMG said it will keep advancing higher-end products, intelligent technologies, green development, global operations and service-oriented businesses. It describes the ranking as a benchmark for its progress. The company said these priorities are meant to support a world-class construction machinery industry cluster.
XCMG Remains Only Construction Machinery Firm on Fortune China ESG Impact List
XCMG was again included in Fortune China's ESG Impact List this year, and it is still the only construction machinery company on it. Its sustainability work covers green manufacturing, new energy solutions for different operating scenarios, and low-carbon supply chains.
Forbes China Names XCMG Best Employer for Second Straight Year
On Oct. 20, Forbes China's 2026 Best Employers selection recognized XCMG in two categories: annual best employer and best employer for ESG practices. It was the company's second consecutive year receiving the annual best employer recognition.
XCMG is upgrading its human resources system through professional skills development, organizational and process improvements, and digital transformation. The company said the changes aim to give employees clearer career pathways. Its program combines integrated recruitment, structured training and market-based incentives, and it includes international work experience across its global operations.
