Zhengzhou – September 12, 2026 -- Chinese bus manufacturer Yutong has launched the T14, a diesel-powered premium touring coach engineered specifically for the European market, expanding its T-Series lineup with a vehicle built on components from DAF, ZF and Bosch.
Yutong pairs a DAF MX-13 engine with ZF suspension and Bosch steering for European roads
The T14 runs on a DAF MX-13 engine rated at 350 kW and 2,500 N·m of torque, paired with a Bosch steering system that keeps the minimum turning radius under 21 meters. Yutong says the combination delivers maneuverability across varied European terrain, from mountain passes to coastal routes, targeting both cross-border long-distance transport and premium touring operators.
Dual-zone climate control and low-odor materials target passenger comfort on long routes
An intelligent dual-zone air conditioning system offers independent temperature control for driver and passengers, rated at 36,000 kcal cooling and 38,000 kcal heating capacity. Interior materials have been upgraded to low-odor, eco-friendly variants, capping odor levels at 2.5 at 40°C and 3.0 at 80°C. Ergonomic seating, ZF air suspension and an automatic transmission are designed to reduce vibration and shift shock, while 26 premium speakers and a 22-inch HD display, plus an onboard fridge, toilet, water dispenser and charging ports, round out the cabin.
Aerodynamic redesign and BlueCore fuel system cut consumption by 2%-3%
Yutong's ECAS electronically controlled air suspension automatically adjusts ride height based on vehicle speed. Combined with electronic mirrors and an aerodynamic front-end design, the changes cut the drag coefficient by 20%. The BlueCore fuel-saving system and electric fans further optimize energy use, translating into fuel savings of 2% to 3%.
New cockpit system cuts physical switches by 60% while adding driver-assist functions
The driver's cabin features Yutong's intelligent cockpit system, built around a 10.25-inch instrument display and a 12.8-inch central control screen. It supports 1080P full-vehicle monitoring, a 360-degree panoramic view, ambient lighting control, phone mirroring and USB connectivity. Yutong states the system adds 20% more functions while reducing physical switches by 60%. The T14 also includes adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, an advanced emergency braking system and an anti-slip regulation system.
