Stokke, Norway – September 15, 2026 -- Yutong Bus opened its first comprehensive service center in Europe on September 8 in Stokke, Norway, a 38,941-square-meter facility designed to support battery-electric bus fleets across the full vehicle lifecycle.
Facility integrates 6,074 square meters of service infrastructure including a 2,300-square-meter parts warehouse
The Center combines vehicle delivery, after-sales service, spare parts supply, and technical training under one roof. It houses seven standardized maintenance bays plus dedicated bays for powertrain and large-component repairs, equipped with four-post lifts, an electronic laser wheel alignment system, a brake tester, and a heavy-duty tire balancer. The facility can service chassis, electrical and high-voltage systems, powertrains, air conditioning, and interiors, and also handles non-severe accident repairs, alcohol interlocks, and tachographs.
Dedicated inspection line supports Norway's mandatory PKK compliance testing
Built to EU standards, the Center features a 31.5-meter inspection pit, two 16-ton pit jacks, and testing equipment for brakes, lighting, side-slip, and OBD systems, covering chassis, braking, safety devices, and powertrain compliance. Conducting inspections and fault diagnosis locally is intended to cut fleet downtime and lower operating costs for Norwegian bus operators.
Parts warehouse stocks 4,500 SKUs of genuine Yutong components
The 2,300-square-meter parts warehouse covers battery, motor and electronic control systems, powertrains, chassis, steering, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, trim, wear parts, and maintenance consumables. Local stock combined with regional distribution center replenishment is designed to reduce parts sourcing and repair waiting times.
Training facility uses real vehicle components for technician instruction
The Center includes theoretical and hands-on training areas with a whole-vehicle training platform for pure electric buses, alongside dedicated units for air conditioning, EBS braking, heaters, battery, motor and electronic control systems, and rear-axle disassembly. Training equipment sourced from actual vehicle assemblies allows maintenance technicians to apply instruction directly to field repairs.
