Zoomlion Expands European Service, Manufacturing After Germany Talks

Changsha – September 07, 2026 -- Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Co., Ltd. is broadening its European footprint in sales, manufacturing, service, workforce development and digitalization following a partner meeting at its German plant on August 19 and a subsequent visit to subsidiary m-tec.

Partners across Europe press Zoomlion on spare parts and service speed

Customers and partners from multiple European countries met at Zoomlion's German facility to discuss market developments, products, services and localization progress. Participants credited the company with gains in product quality and technological capability, while flagging long-term service commitments, spare parts supply and a wider product portfolio as top priorities. Chairman and CEO Zhan Chunxin responded by underscoring Europe's strategic weight for Zoomlion and reaffirming a long-term localization commitment.

Company plans digital platform to track service orders automatically

Zoomlion said it will expand its European spare parts and service network to cut response times and boost parts availability. A customer-facing digital service platform is under development to automatically assign and track service orders, giving clients direct visibility into equipment, parts and service status. The company also plans further new product and technology launches to fit local market requirements.

CEO tours m-tec's German R&D site, including 3D-printing applications

On August 25, Zhan visited m-tec's production and R&D facilities in Germany, reviewing operations and technological development, including work on 3D-printing applications. He said Zoomlion will keep backing m-tec with the group's global market access, R&D capabilities and financial resources while deepening cooperation on technology, products and market development. m-tec joined Zoomlion in 2014 and has since expanded its expertise in dry mortar machinery and building materials, becoming a core piece of the group's European localization strategy.

Manufacturing footprint spans Italy, Germany and Hungary

Zoomlion has built sales, service, financing and manufacturing capacity across Europe through local production sites including CIFA in Italy, m-tec, WILBERT and RABE in Germany, and an aerial work platform plant in Hungary. These operations bring manufacturing, technical expertise, skilled labor and customer support closer to European markets.
