Algorized Shows Wireless Human-Perception Model at CIIE 2026

SHANGHAI – November 04, 2026 -- Algorized is demonstrating its Algorized Foundation Model (AFM), a single model for human-aware perception, live at the 9th China International Import Expo (CIIE 2026) in Shanghai from 5 to 10 November, running on data from one standard wireless sensor.

BMW Technology Office China invites Algorized to its start-up exhibition area

BMW Technology Office China identified Algorized through outside-in scouting for its human-aware perception offering in Physical AI. Algorized is an invited guest at the BMW start-up area. Participation does not mean any collaboration with BMW exists or that BMW endorses or validates the technology. All capability claims about AFM are Algorized's own.

AFM reads people from Wi-Fi, UWB or mmWave reflections at the edge

The model runs on the device itself and uses low-power wireless signals that reflect off the body. From those reflections, Algorized says AFM distinguishes a person from an object, tracks each person in real time and detects the sub-millimeter chest movements of breathing and heartbeat. It works through darkness, smoke and dust and across sensor types and silicon platforms. Because it relies on movement and breathing rather than imagery, people remain anonymous, the company says.

China's 354,000 robot installations frame the robotics use case

China installed 354,000 industrial robots in 2025, or 59% of installations worldwide, according to the International Federation of Robotics' World Robotics 2026 report. In production settings, AFM lets a robot arm or mobile robot adapt its speed and path around workers on a shared floor. In smart buildings, it senses presence and people count so heating, ventilation and cooling can follow actual occupancy. In connected devices, it provides breathing and heart rate as non-diagnostic well-being features.

Live demo adjusts a simulated robot arm to visitor distance

At the stand, AFM classifies an approaching visitor as a person and tracks them in real time. A simulated robot arm slows with proximity, waits when the visitor comes close and resumes as they step back. A stationary visitor sees breathing and heart rate on screen.

Algorized ships the model as two products: a foundation model stack embedded on partner silicon for automotive, spaces and industrial applications, and a quality-managed safety stack for human-robot collaboration. The company is backed by the Amazon Industrial Innovation Fund.

CEO and founder Natalya Lopareva said, "We built one, and every machine that works around people can build on it." Meetings can be booked through the Algorized media contact, and the company is at the BMW booth.
