Sharpa Launches D01 Robot, W02 Hand, AE01 Glove at IROS 2026
Pittsburgh – September 28, 2026 -- Sharpa unveiled three flagship dexterous-manipulation products at IEEE/RSJ IROS 2026: the D01 integrated robot, the W02 tactile dexterous hand and the AE01 haptic exoskeleton data glove, expanding its hardware portfolio for human-environment robotics.
D01 integrates arms, hands and full-body electronic skin for tactile manipulation
D01 combines Sharpa Wave dexterous hands with seven-degree-of-freedom arms and whole-body electronic skin. The robot achieves an approximately 1:1 arm payload-to-weight ratio, a maximum end-effector speed exceeding 10.5 meters per second, communication frequency of 1,000 Hz and end-effector repeatability of 0.2 millimeters. Its electronic skin operates at a 100 Hz tactile sampling rate with 0.2 newton force resolution, extending contact sensing across the robot's body.
