TEL AVIV – November 06, 2026 -- Anecdotes has launched Security KPIs, an application that replaces reporting cycles of several people working for weeks with automatically generated, board-ready security metrics drawn directly from a company's source systems.
Anecdotes connects source systems in minutes and computes each KPI deterministically
The application sets up data pipelines to a company's systems in minutes. It pulls live data on asset inventory, vulnerabilities, security training completion, access and offboarding, and cloud posture. Each KPI is calculated from every relevant record, with no manual spreadsheet work. The same data always produces the same number, and every figure traces back to its originating system.
KPIs can be scoped three ways:
- A single artifact, such as one centralized device list from an MDM.
- Multiple artifacts, such as all servers across AWS accounts, GCP projects and Azure subscriptions, shown as one metric.
- Part of an artifact, such as training completion for R&D employees only.
Faster AI-driven attacks raise board demand for current security data
Anecdotes links the launch to growing board scrutiny of cybersecurity as AI makes attacks faster and cheaper. Boards want to know how protected the organization is, how likely an incident is, and how quickly it could recover. Answering requires collecting, aggregating and analyzing data from every relevant operation and tool across an enterprise. According to the company, the result that reaches the slide is often incomplete and already stale by the time of the meeting.
Executives frame the product as a daily operational tool, not only a board exercise
Co-founder and CEO Yair Kuznitsov said that once security performance is measured continuously, everyone accountable for it can see and own it daily. He said the product came directly from customer requests, and that CISOs are too often left defending their program with a slide built by hand the night before.
Co-founder and CPO Roi Amior said security KPIs live across dozens of systems and that producing them by hand repeats every cycle. In his words, "The hard part was never the question, it was the data."
Security KPIs is available now within the Anecdotes platform
The application is available today as part of the Anecdotes platform. Anecdotes describes the platform as agentic and aimed at security and GRC leaders. Demos are available on request.
