Moraga – October 28, 2026 -- Atombeam has completed a SOC 2 Type 2 examination of the operations, systems and managed services behind its Neurpac data-compression solution, with independent firm MJD Advisors testing controls over a five-month audit window.
Audit covers April 1 to August 31, 2026 across three trust criteria
The report evaluates the Security, Availability and Confidentiality Trust Services Criteria. MJD Advisors assessed both the design suitability and the operating effectiveness of Atombeam's controls throughout the period. Unlike a Type 1 report, a Type 2 audit tests whether controls work over time, not only whether they are properly designed.
The result follows Atombeam's SOC 2 Type 1 audit, completed earlier this year.
Eight internal functions were involved in the compliance effort
Security, IT, engineering, DevOps, human resources, legal, operations and executive leadership teams worked together to formalize policies, execute controls and validate long-term compliance.
CEO Charles Yeomans said customers use Atombeam to speed mission-critical data across networks and edge devices. He described the audit as "independent validation of our longstanding commitment to keep security central to everything we build."
Neurpac targets 75% data reduction and up to 9x bandwidth gains
Neurpac shrinks file, block, SCADA and video data by 75%, according to the company. It increases available bandwidth by up to 9x or more and deploys in existing stacks in minutes, with no hardware changes. Atombeam also says Neurpac adds more variability than the letters and numerals of traditional code, making data more secure even before encryption is applied.
