Rockville, Md. – September 15, 2026 -- The Association for Financial Professionals (AFP) named Bandwidth, Google and ServiceNow as finalists for the AFP 2026 Pinnacle Awards, sponsored by Truist for a third consecutive year, with all three finalists having built AI-enabled treasury systems.
Voting closes September 18 ahead of Las Vegas announcement
Community voting to select the Grand Prize winner runs until Sept. 18, 2026. The winner will be revealed during AFP 2026, held November 8-11 in Las Vegas, and Truist will donate $10,000 to The Just One Project on the winner's behalf.
Bandwidth built a custom AI-native treasury platform using Claude and Atlar
Bandwidth replaced a legacy treasury management system reliant on manual data gathering and spreadsheets by building its own AI-native platform using Atlar's real-time bank connectivity and Anthropic's Claude. The system created a single view of liquidity across all entities and banking partners, automating cash forecasting, transaction categorization, multilateral netting, debt monitoring, covenant tracking and bank fee analysis.
Google automated investment execution across SWIFT and ERP infrastructure
Google converted a manual investment process into an automated workflow built on its existing SWIFT, MT320, banking and ERP systems. Machine-learning models generate daily cash forecasts and investable cash calculations, while AI agents collect counterparty rates, evaluate options against yield and liquidity requirements, and an execution agent automates trade placement and ERP entries.
ServiceNow cut 40-60 weekly hours of manual data reconciliation
As ServiceNow expanded across more than 50 countries, treasury staff spent 40 to 60 hours per week manually reconciling data from disconnected systems. The team integrated more than 10 source systems into a single data architecture for cash, investments, forecasts, FX and banking data, then layered on real-time dashboards, a treasury chatbot, machine-learning forecasting, automated FX hedging across 40+ currency pairs and AI-powered counterparty exposure monitoring.
AFP leadership frames submissions as new benchmark for the profession
"The solutions created by Bandwidth, Google and ServiceNow showcase a spirit of innovation and set a higher standard for our global community," said Pat Culkin, President & CEO of AFP. Truist's Chris Ward, Head of Enterprise Payments, said the bank sponsors the awards to recognize organizations "turning bold ideas into measurable business results."
Registration for AFP 2026 closes October 2 for attendees seeking to save $274 off on-site pricing.
