Salt Lake City – October 16, 2026 -- BorboletaPro has acquired Dulce Lash Artistry and been named preferred lash and brow education partner of Paul Mitchell Advanced Education (PMAE), giving it a route into the Paul Mitchell Schools network nationwide.
Under the arrangement, BorboletaPro will supply its professional products, specialized curriculum and hands-on training across the school network. The company said the initiative is designed to link traditional cosmetology and esthetics education with specialized lash and brow skills. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Acquisition adds a decade of lash and brow education to BorboletaPro's curriculum
Dulce Lash Artistry brings roughly ten years of lash and brow education experience. BorboletaPro CEO Mike Alexander said the deal allows the company to scale its curriculum through a partnership with Paul Mitchell Schools. He said Dulce Lash Artistry's team will continue to provide guidance and expertise as BorboletaPro enters its next phase of growth.
LeeAnn Lee, Director of Operations at Dulce Lash Artistry, said the decision reflects confidence in BorboletaPro's team and its plans for lash and brow education, products and service.
PMAE relationship predates the preferred-partner designation
The partnership builds on an existing relationship between BorboletaPro and PMAE, which the companies describe as grounded in shared priorities on product quality and educational resources. Erica Marshall, Senior Director of Education at PMAE, said the organization values BorboletaPro's product quality, customer service and educational resources, and is pleased to see its products and curriculum available to the Paul Mitchell School network.
Borboleta founder Kimber Jaynes said the partnership advances her aim of establishing lash artistry as a skilled, respected profession. She said the model lets the company reach students at an already established level of beauty education and add specialized skills.
