Cavli to Debut P16QS Module and Cortex AI at electronica 2026

Munich – November 06, 2026 -- Cavli Wireless will unveil its P16QS LTE Cat 1bis system-on-module and the Cortex AI firmware assistant at electronica 2026, running November 10-13 in Munich. The company says Cortex AI aims to cut IoT development cycles from months to weeks, depending on project complexity and deployment requirements.

P16QS packs payment-grade security into a 40 x 30 mm module

The P16QS targets payment terminals, connected soundboxes, low-cost instrument clusters, vehicle telematics and asset tracking. It runs a 32-bit RISC-V processor at 325 MHz with RTOS support. LTE Cat 1bis delivers peak speeds of 10 Mbps down and 5 Mbps up.

The module adds Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth Low Energy 5.4, an integrated secure element, and interfaces for NFC, smart cards and magnetic-stripe readers. Multi-constellation GNSS and an integrated eSIM are optional. The LGA package measures 40.0 x 30.0 x 2.7 mm.

At the booth, the P16QS will anchor a point-of-sale concept that integrates payment peripherals, local processing and secure connectivity in one module. Cavli will also show its CQ16 and C16QS Cat 1bis modules.

Cortex AI automates code generation through device boot-up

Cortex AI is an autonomous firmware engineering assistant that links programming tools, technical resources and hardware testing in one workflow. It automates code generation, compilation, flashing and device boot-up, which reduces repetitive manual tasks in firmware validation.

CQM220 and CQM211 router prototypes span mid-tier to multi-gigabit 5G

Cavli will show router prototypes built on two 5G modules, both offered in LGA and M.2 form factors.

The CQM220 is a 3GPP Release 17 RedCap module on the Qualcomm SDX35 chipset. It reaches 220 Mbps down and 120 Mbps up on 5G, with LTE Cat 4 fallback at 150 Mbps down and 50 Mbps up. It pairs an Arm Cortex-A7 processor running up to 1.9 GHz with dual-band GNSS and OpenWrt support. Cavli lists industrial gateways, smart infrastructure, healthcare devices and connected logistics as target uses.

The CQM211 is a 3GPP Release 16 5G NR module on the Qualcomm SDX61 chipset. Peak downloads reach 2.5 Gbps in NSA mode and 1.5 Gbps in SA mode, with LTE Cat 16 fallback and carrier aggregation. It supports Yocto Linux, PCIe Gen3 and USB 3.1/2.0. Target applications include industrial routers, broadband gateways, smart surveillance and edge computing.

Cavli Hubble demo covers FOTA updates and remote diagnostics

Cavli will demonstrate its Hubble cloud platform live, covering global cellular connectivity, eSIM lifecycle management, device monitoring and firmware management. The demo features Hubble Lens for remote AT-command access, FOTA/DFOTA for remote firmware updates, and Hubble Cloud Connect for device-to-cloud data routing. Cavli says these tools reduce reliance on on-site intervention for distributed IoT fleets.

Founder and CEO John Mathew said the aim is an "effortless connected path from development to deployment" across hardware, connectivity, firmware tools and cloud operations.

Cavli is exhibiting in Hall C2, Booth 628. It will also distribute the first edition of its Cavli360 IoT Magazine, which covers 5G, AI-driven IoT and the evolution toward 6G.
