Shanghai -- September 01, 2026 -- TCL CSOT opened its exhibition at the Display Innovation China Expo 2026 in Shanghai on Aug. 31, presenting a lineup of OLED, Micro LED and automotive display technologies. The company said its inkjet-printed (IJP) OLED technology has already reached mass production in the professional display sector and is now being validated with device brands for consumer laptops and monitors. Executives cited industry data projecting the global display market to grow from $123 billion in 2022 to $156 billion by 2030.

HONG KONG -- Aug. 31, 2026 -- Himel won the Green Technology – Manufacturing category at the Hong Kong Business Technology Excellence Awards 2026 for its NERIO Series wiring devices. The award recognized NERIO's paint-free manufacturing process, which removes a conventional coating step from production of the switches. Himel general manager Wenjie Qi accepted the recognition on behalf of the company. The award was announced Aug. 31, 2026.

ESPOO, Finland -- September 01, 2026 -- S-Transistors, a startup spun out of VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, has raised €2.6 million in pre-seed funding to commercialize a new class of superconducting transistors for controlling large-scale quantum computers. Lifeline Ventures led the round, joined by an angel investor, the company announced on Aug. 31, 2026. The capital will fund prototype development for cryogenic signal control, a dedicated cryogenic laboratory, and a manufacturing pilot line for the company's superconducting integrated circuits.
