If delegated, .frax would function as a globally recognized internet domain alongside .com and .org.
.frax Would Link Blockchain-Based Naming With the Global DNS
Frax intends .frax to be the first end-to-end top-level domain connecting the traditional internet with onchain infrastructure. Users would register and manage .frax domains through Frax Name Service (FNS) on Frax's blockchain network, Fraxtal, while those domains continue to resolve through the standard global Domain Name System.
