Irvine – October 16, 2026 -- Janssen Auto Group has acquired Gregg Young Chevrolet in Plattsmouth, Nebraska, from Gregg Young Automotive Group, giving it a ninth franchised dealership in the state. Performance Brokerage Services advised on the transaction. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Janssen consolidates two Plattsmouth stores under one owner

The Chevrolet store follows Janssen's late-2025 purchase of Gregg Young Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Plattsmouth. Janssen Auto Group previously operated eight dealerships across Ford, Chevrolet, GMC, Honda, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram. The Chevrolet dealership will be renamed Janssen Kuenle Chevrolet and will stay at its current location.

Owner Dave Janssen said the group is looking forward to working with the broker on its "next acquisition."

Genesis of Glenview will retain its name but move operations to a newly built facility at 2929 Patriot Boulevard in Glenview, Illinois.

Mansfield Motor Group traces its roots to Whitey's Auto Mall, established by Frank "Whitey" Schluter and recognized as one of the early pioneers of the multi-franchise auto mall model. Brothers Dirk and Brett Schluter took ownership in 2001 and led the 79-year-old business until this sale.

WC Tractor divests New Holland stores to focus on Kubota operations

Founded in 1939 as a Ford tractor dealership in Brenham, WC Tractor expanded to 11 dealership rooftops across Central and East Texas by 2025 after beginning growth efforts in 2002. The family-owned company, led by Chris Wackman, has built its reputation as a leading Kubota dealer, earning Kubota's Elite Award of Excellence in 2016 and Rural Lifestyle Dealer's 2024 Dealership of the Year title. Multiple WC Tractor locations hold Kubota Circle of Excellence recognition alongside Kubota Elite and Kubota Service Elite designations. The sale of its three New Holland locations allows WC Tractor to concentrate resources on its Kubota network across Texas.

Irvine, Calif. – September 07, 2026 -- Blue Compass RV has acquired Brown's RV Superstore in McBee, South Carolina, expanding its Carolinas footprint to 13 dealerships in a deal brokered by Performance Brokerage Services.

Family-owned dealership changes hands after nearly four decades

Founded in 1986, Brown's RV Superstore operated as a family business for close to 40 years on a 12-acre site with 31,000 square feet of retail and service space, including 20 enclosed service bays. The dealership carried new and pre-owned RVs from Jayco, Grand Design, and Brinkley. Barry Brown of the Brown family confirmed the sale, crediting Jesse Stopnitzky of Performance Brokerage Services as exclusive sell-side advisor.
