Atlanta – September 22, 2026 -- Sercomm (TWSE: 5388) has launched a fully ITU-T G.9804.3-compliant 50G PON product portfolio, targeting service providers accelerating their transition to all-fiber networks amid surging bandwidth demand from 8K streaming, cloud gaming, AR/VR, enterprise connectivity and mobile backhaul.

The portfolio, built to ITU-T G.9804.3 specifications, positions 50G PON as the successor to XGS-PON, enabling multi-gigabit symmetrical connectivity for residential, business and mobile-backhaul deployments.
The solution enables tri-PON coexistence with GPON and XGS-PON on shared optical distribution networks
