Basel – October 19, 2026 -- WuXi Biologics will expand annual capacity to approximately 300 IND programs and 20 BLA programs by 2027, as bispecific antibodies and ADCs made up 71% of the 169 projects it added in the first half of 2026. More than two-thirds of those new programs originated in the United States and Europe, the company said at its 3rd annual Basel CRDMO+ Day, held alongside Festival of Biologics Basel 2026, which drew more than 3,000 industry professionals.

The company's portfolio stands at 1,064 integrated projects, including 399 first-in-class programs, 732 global IND clearances and more than 90 market authorizations. More than 100 biotech and pharma leaders attended the Basel session.

Milan – October 10, 2026 -- WuXi Biologics is pitching a European manufacturing footprint of 54,000 L of drug-substance capacity in Dundalk, Ireland, plus a 12,000 L site in Wuppertal, Germany, to biopharma clients at CPHI Milan 2026, as Europe's biologics market is projected to grow from an estimated US$123.75 billion in 2025 to about US$269.65 billion by 2035.

Suzhou – September 14, 2026 -- Transcenta Therapeutics has licensed its Highly Intensified Continuous Bioprocessing (HiCB) platform to WuXi Biologics under a non-exclusive technology agreement, securing an upfront payment of RMB 10 million plus future milestone payments.

Transcenta and subsidiary HJB grant WuXi Biologics non-exclusive rights to HiCB and ExcelPro media

Under the deal, Transcenta and its subsidiary HJB will license certain technologies tied to the HiCB continuous bioprocessing platform and its ExcelPro cell culture media to WuXi Biologics and its affiliates. WuXi Biologics will become a strategic CMC development partner supporting molecules across Transcenta's pipeline.
