Hamburg – October 30, 2026 -- Hamburg-based recruiter ContentCut GmbH has filled more than 1,000 positions at over 600 employers in medicine, nursing and therapy, using a model that lets employers see candidates before signing a contract. The company is targeting a German healthcare labor gap that PwC projects will leave about 1.8 million jobs unfilled by 2035.
ContentCut charges one to two monthly salaries only on a successful hire
The initial consultation is free. A fee falls due only when a candidate is hired, with a rule of thumb of one to two monthly salaries. If a placed professional leaves during the probation period, ContentCut searches for a replacement at no charge.
Employers can also commission advice on employer branding, PR and tax-advantaged benefit models.
Recruiters pre-screen candidates the same day an order is confirmed
ContentCut filters its database by qualification, salary expectation, commuting distance and working hours. Candidates from nursing, practices, therapy and clinics register anonymously and free of charge on the company's platform.
After an order is confirmed, a specialized recruiter contacts selected candidates the same day. The recruiter presents the employer, checks qualifications and German language skills, and verifies documents for authenticity. Employers receive only profiles of interested candidates, including their availability windows.
New clients spend about one hour of their own time before the first interview. First interviews take place after roughly 14 days, and positions are filled in about 1.5 months on average.
More than nine in ten projects end in a hire that survives probation within a quarter
According to the company, more than nine of ten projects lead to a placement within the first quarter that lasts beyond the probation period. ContentCut employs more than ten recruiters, each specialized in a field from therapy and doctors' practices to nursing and clinics.
A dental technology lab in Berlin, told by several providers that staff could not be found without a significant pay rise, hired two qualified dental technicians within four weeks. Salary was not the decisive lever, according to the company.
An occupational therapy practice in rural Friedberg, which had previously rejected staffing agencies on principle, filled its vacancy after seven weeks. A northern German nursing home operator has worked with ContentCut for several years and has received several hundred applications for its 18 facilities across five federal states.
Managing Director Lars Vollrath said time is the decisive factor in healthcare for patients and employers alike, and that the firm lets employers see available candidates before deciding on a collaboration. ContentCut is led by Vollrath and Ben Burmester.
