SUNNYVALE – October 29, 2026 -- Cresta, the AI operating system for customer experience, has opened end-to-end self-service to developers building customer-facing AI agents in-house or for clients, with enterprise developers already moving from first requirements to production in as little as one week.
Cresta Conductor routes agent builds through customers' own repos and CI/CD pipelines
Developers build agents through their own repository and CI/CD pipeline, while Cresta supplies the runtime infrastructure. That includes controlled releases, access control, and visibility into AI usage and cost. Cresta targets teams that want to treat AI agents like any other production software, subject to code review, testing, and release processes, rather than keeping them in a separate visual interface or building guardrails and release tooling from scratch on raw models.
Cresta CEO Ping Wu said the company has "handed them the keys," after productizing practices from its deployments with large enterprises.
Conductor cuts forward-deployed teams' custom tooling time by up to 5x
Conductor is built on the Claude Agent SDK in collaboration with Anthropic. Cresta developed it for its own forward-deployed product managers and engineers, who report spending up to 5x less time on custom tools, code, and deployments. Customer and partner developers now get the same tools, plus the Cresta AI Agent SDK for writing custom Python that connects agents to internal systems. Because Conductor supports the open Agent Skills standard, skills written for existing coding assistants carry over.
A developer at an Australian telecom provider rebuilt a production chat agent with more than 10 subagents and custom code from another platform onto Cresta in under a week.
Release controls and compliance certifications target enterprise risk concerns
Teams can send a share of conversations to a new agent version, A/B test versions, and roll back if needed. Builder and reviewer permissions define who can build, review, test, and inspect each agent.
Cresta holds SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and ISO 27701 certifications and is PCI DSS and HIPAA compliant. It says it was the first customer experience AI provider to achieve ISO 42001, the international standard for AI management systems.
Cresta Academy launches certification for customer and partner engineers
Cresta Academy trains and certifies engineers to design, test, launch, and continuously improve agents on the platform. Certification gives technical leaders a defined standard for which engineers can ship agents independently. Academy is available to customers and partners through the Cresta Help Center. Teams wanting hands-on support can still engage Cresta's forward-deployed engineers at any stage.
Atento and TELUS Digital adopt Conductor for partner-led deployments
Atento Chief Digital Transformation Officer Paul Ignasinski said scaling enterprise CX agents requires operational discipline to design, test, and refine them continuously, and that Conductor gives Atento's teams a self-serve platform for building an AI agent workforce for clients.
TELUS Digital engineers began building on Conductor in June, according to Jamie Timm, Global SVP of Service Delivery & Operations. He said the developer tooling gives engineers platform depth without sacrificing the accessibility needed to ship quickly.
