DelDOT Goes Live on Schedule With TransCore Integrity Tolling Platform

NASHVILLE – October 27, 2026 -- The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) has taken TransCore's latest-generation Integrity Back Office System live on schedule and has already granted system acceptance, replacing its legacy platform for statewide tolling and E-ZPass operations.

New platform consolidates five core toll functions in one system

The upgraded system unifies toll processing, account management, image review, violations processing and financial reporting. TransCore and DelDOT have worked together for many years on E-ZPass customer service operations.

The deployment moves Delaware to a cloud-capable architecture built to run in clustered, scalable Kubernetes environments. TransCore says the design handles high transaction volumes and adapts to policy and fee changes.

Configurable rules and modular design cut reliance on code changes

Agencies can adjust business rules, fees and policies directly, which reduces the need for code deployments or change orders. A modular architecture lets components such as databases or operating systems be updated without replacing the whole system.

TransCore describes Integrity as built on more than a decade of iterative engineering and real-world agency deployments.

AI-driven IVR and self-service tools target call center demand

Customer-facing upgrades include online and mobile tools for account management, payments, dispute resolution and real-time notifications. A natural-language, AI-driven interactive voice response (IVR) system is designed to streamline support and reduce call center demand. The framework is also built for future AI-driven enhancements in customer service, reporting and automation.

Delaware Secretary of Transportation Shanté Hastings said the upgrade improves the customer experience and changes how tolls are assessed and collected.

TransCore CEO Whitt Hall called DelDOT's program "one of the most visible toll programs on the East Coast."
