Louisville – October 27, 2026 -- Eagleview has named Gregory Robinson, former director of NASA's James Webb Space Telescope Program, as keynote speaker for Futureview East 2026, which runs September 22–25, 2026, at the Louisville Marriott Downtown.
Robinson is a 33-year NASA veteran. NASA announced in 2022 that he had been named to the TIME100 list for his leadership of the Webb program.
Robinson led Webb through delays and cost challenges
Before its launch and deployment, the Webb program faced intense scrutiny over delays, cost challenges and operational complexity. Robinson is credited with helping turn the program around and improving its efficiency. His keynote will address leadership, innovation and resilience in guiding complex missions through change.
Eagleview ties space imagery to government workflows
Eagleview is linking the keynote to its government customers, who use high-resolution aerial imagery to see what is hard to see from the ground. The company points to four use cases:
- Assessment teams: validating property data, identifying change and supporting remote review.
- GIS teams: strengthening maps, layers and location-based analysis.
- Public safety and emergency management: planning, situational awareness and response.
- Public works and infrastructure: assessing assets, conditions and project needs.
Futureview splits into East and West events
Futureview East is part of a reimagined Futureview format that also includes Futureview West in Fort Worth. The Louisville program includes expert-led training, product education, customer sessions and peer networking.
Customers holding existing Futureview tickets can redeem them for Louisville. Registration for Futureview West opens September 1, 2026.
