Eve Air Mobility Partners With Florida DOT on eVTOL Testing at SunTrax Air

FARNBOROUGH – – October 31, 2026 -- Eve Air Mobility (NYSE: EVEX, EVEXW; B3: EVEB31) has entered a partnership with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) to test Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) infrastructure and operations at SunTrax Air, the state's dedicated AAM research and development hub.

FDOT-led initiative targets infrastructure, procedures and airspace navigation

The effort combines Eve's expertise in eVTOL aircraft, operations and services with SunTrax Air's research, testing and validation capabilities. It will produce insights into the infrastructure, operational procedures and airspace navigation procedures needed to integrate AAM safely and efficiently into Florida's transportation network.

FDOT owns and operates SunTrax Air. The facility evaluates technologies, operational concepts and supporting infrastructure for next-generation aviation.

Partners will evaluate passenger experience and ecosystem requirements

Using SunTrax Air's purpose-built environment, Eve and FDOT will assess operational concepts, infrastructure readiness, passenger experience and future ecosystem requirements. The partners say the work will support Florida's long-term transportation strategy and help accelerate AAM commercialization. They also aim to make Florida a national leader in AAM.

The agreement builds on an existing relationship between Eve and FDOT.

Executives stress alignment across aircraft, infrastructure and communities

Eve CEO Johann Bordais said introducing a new mode of transportation requires alignment across aircraft, infrastructure, operations and communities. He cited Embraer's longstanding relationship with the state as a foundation for Eve's role.

FDOT Secretary Jared W. Perdue said SunTrax's resources and infrastructure will "play a key role" in Eve's research and testing for safe AAM integration into the transportation system.
