Hamburg – September 09, 2026 -- Germany's Faktenkontor agency group has rebranded as PER Group, restructuring its five subsidiaries around client-outcome delivery rather than traditional agency disciplines such as PR, data or technology.
PER Group replaces discipline-based units with client-outcome "Impact Architectures"
The group, ranked 12th in the Pfeffer-Ranking of German PR agencies, will no longer organize services by function. Instead, each client engagement starts with a defined business outcome -- visibility, trust, acceptance or growth -- before communication, data, insights and technology are combined into what the group calls an individual "Impact Architecture."
Five agencies renamed under a single PER brand structure
The former PER Agency and PER Consulting merge into PER Consulting. Akima becomes PER Connect. IMWF is renamed PER Intelligence, while IMWF Austria becomes PER Insight. TIQ.Solutions is rebranded PER Solutions. The five units operate across three competence areas: Communication & Brand, Data & Evaluation, and AI & Technology, working independently or in cross-unit teams depending on client needs.
Executives cite pressure on communications teams to prove measurable business impact
"Unternehmen brauchen nicht noch mehr von allem. Sie brauchen die richtige Kombination," said Dr. Roland Heintze, managing director of PER Group, arguing companies need the right combination of capabilities rather than more content, data or technology. Co-managing director Jörg Forthmann said communications functions seeking a seat at C-level must demonstrate impact beyond reach and engagement metrics, tying communication goals directly to corporate objectives.
Clients retain option to engage single specialized units
Under the new model, clients can still commission a single subsidiary for specialized work. For more complex mandates, the group bundles competencies from multiple units into a custom architecture tied to the client's stated goal.
