Future Standard, $94B Asset Manager, Takes Villanova Jersey Patch

PHILADELPHIA – October 30, 2026 -- Future Standard, a global alternative asset manager with $94 billion in assets under management, has signed a multiyear partnership with Villanova Athletics that makes it Premier Partner, Official Jersey Patch Partner and Exclusive Asset Management Sponsor.

Future Standard logo debuts on Villanova basketball jerseys in Rome on November 1

The Future Standard logo will appear on all Villanova varsity uniforms. It debuts on the men's and women's basketball jerseys when Villanova plays Notre Dame at the "Eternal City Tip-Off" in Rome, Italy, on November 1, 2026. Villanova sponsors 24 varsity sports with more than 600 student-athletes.

The firm did not disclose financial terms or the length of the agreement beyond calling it multiyear.

Client and advisor hospitality drives the commercial case

Future Standard plans to use the deal to engage clients, advisors, alumni, students and business leaders through hospitality, executive programming and events throughout the year. It will also use the partnership as a platform to share investment insights across the Villanova community.

CEO Edwin Conway said the jersey patch is the most visible element, but "the greatest value will come from the relationships, connections, and opportunities" the two organizations create. The company said the partnership supports its continued growth across institutional and private wealth markets.

Villanova School of Business to run career pipeline into private markets

Future Standard and the Villanova School of Business intend to collaborate on thought leadership, professional development and student engagement. The programs are designed to expose students to careers in financial services and private markets through mentorship, networking and educational programming. Students are expected to engage with professionals across investments, client engagement, capital formation, technology and operations.

Future Standard invests across private equity, credit, real estate and infrastructure, and backs middle-market business owners and financial sponsors. Its AUM figure is estimated as of June 30, 2026.

Annual Philadelphia community initiative included in the agreement

The two organizations will also run an annual initiative aligned with shared priorities across the Philadelphia region. Eric Roedl, Villanova's Vice President and Director of Athletics, said the deal strengthens the department's ability to support student-athletes in the classroom, in competition and in the community.

Playfly Sports, the exclusive multimedia rights holder of Villanova Athletics, facilitated the partnership.
