On Serko.ai, CFAR is branded as Stress-free Cancellation. Travelers can instantly cancel a flight up to 3 hours before departure, or a hotel before check-in. The trip cost is refunded to the original form of payment, with no questions asked. The offer is subject to terms and conditions, which the companies reference but do not detail.
The flexibility applies to every booking made through Serko.ai. HTS is the B2B division of Hopper.
Serko.ai taps a single Lodging API for hotels and vacation rentals
Serko.ai also uses the HTS Lodging API, which serves both hotels and vacation rental homes through one integration. The API can be built into any online booking tool or booking engine. It gives travel brands instant access to more than 1.4 million properties.
HTS also supplies proprietary technology for search, property and room mapping, pricing intelligence, auctions and ranking.
Serko's product chief says rebooking friction is the top business-travel pain point
David Holyoke, Chief Product Officer at Serko, said the biggest pain point for business travelers is friction when plans change, such as a rescheduled meeting or travel disruption. He said combining HTS hotel content with flexible technology gives travelers broad inventory and competitive rates, and gives companies booking confidence.
