Riyadh – September 07, 2026 -- HUMAIN, the Saudi Public Investment Fund-backed AI company, has named Compal Electronics (TWSE: 2324) its strategic long-term ODM partner to build next-generation AI infrastructure and intelligent computing platforms.
Deal spans cloud, edge and physical AI infrastructure
The partnership establishes a roadmap covering cloud AI infrastructure, edge computing, physical AI and future intelligent computing technologies, supporting HUMAIN's push to build regional AI capacity. The two companies unveiled the collaboration at the LEAP 2026 technology event in Riyadh.
Compal to supply AI servers built on NVIDIA and AMD accelerated compute
Compal will support HUMAIN with scalable ODM capabilities for new generations of AI servers and infrastructure platforms as compute demand grows. The product line includes AI servers based on both NVIDIA and AMD accelerated computing technologies, enabling flexible deployment for training, inference and large-scale enterprise workloads. Compal's system design, thermal engineering and global production capacity will be combined with HUMAIN's AI platform vision to build infrastructure aimed at sovereign AI requirements.
Collaboration extends to AI PCs and hospital-based physical AI
Beyond the data center, the partnership covers AI PCs and physical AI deployed in smart hospitals. HUMAIN and Compal will explore next-generation AI-based personal computing platforms combining cloud intelligence with embedded AI for enterprise, government and professional users. A key showcase is Compal's PolyMedX physical AI platform, which uses NVIDIA's agent-ready Rheo architecture model to integrate edge AI, sensing and automation for hospital operations and patient care. PolyMedX is already deployed in leading medical institutions.
