Wayne, Pa. – November 05, 2026 -- HUSK, a preventative wellness technology company serving self-funded and fully insured employers and health insurers, has launched HUSK Wellness, an ecosystem that combines five benefits and gives employers reporting on whether wellness spend reduces healthcare costs.
HUSK Wellness bundles five benefits into one personalized employee journey
The platform covers Challenge, Rewards, Marketplace, Nutrition and Mental Health. Each employee's journey is shaped by employer goals and driven by employee choice. Onboarding is led by Poppie, HUSK's wellness assistant, which learns each employee's goals, interests and preferences and builds a path across all five benefits.
Employers get utilization and ROI reporting tied to high-cost claims
Employers can see utilization and ROI, and how participation relates to high-cost utilization such as ER visits and chronic condition spend. HUSK says employers have lacked a reliable way to connect wellness spend to outcomes because benefits are spread across separate vendors.
Clinical care already covered by health plans is the usage target
In both self-funded and fully insured plans, most employees already have access to registered dietitians and licensed therapists, yet much of that care goes unused. HUSK CEO Erin Markowski said the clinical care is already covered by the health plan, and the company's job is to connect it to "the healthy habits people enjoy." Nutrition and mental health care are delivered by Registered Dietitians and Mental Health Therapists.
Samantha Chase, Head of Product, said the platform is built around employee choice rather than nudges to engage.
HUSK has helped employers engage their workforces in wellness for three decades and operates under parent company Volaris. HUSK Wellness is available now to employers and health insurance partners.
