Barcelona – October 19, 2026 -- Inspired Entertainment (NASDAQ: INSE) has signed on as Platinum Impact Partner of Midnight Mayhem, a charity boxing event targeting more than €150,000 in donations during ICE Barcelona 2027.
Behind the Gloves Ltd organises the event, which will take place on January 19, 2027. Eighteen senior leaders from the global gaming industry will fight after months of training. Each participant selects a charity to support.
Inspired sponsors Square in the Air executive Robin Hutchison
As part of the deal, Inspired is backing Robin Hutchison, Chief Commercial Officer at London-based media agency Square in the Air. Hutchison previously held roles at Entain, including at Coral and Ladbrokes. He is raising funds for Parkinson's UK, citing his father and uncle, who live with the condition.
Claire Osborne, Managing Director of Interactive at Inspired, said the event reflects the industry coming together to make a difference. She expects it to be one of the standout events of ICE Barcelona 2027.
Independent advisory board oversees allocation of funds
Proceeds will also support CHIPS Charity, which provides powered wheelchairs to children with severe mobility challenges. The Oliver's Wish Foundation, which supports children and young people facing adversity, and Support Our Paras, the Parachute Regiment and Airborne Forces charity, are also beneficiaries. Each fighter's chosen charity will receive funds too. An independent charity advisory board will oversee the allocation.
Midnight Mayhem is affiliated with WBC Cares UK, the charitable arm of the World Boxing Council.
Organiser says most of the 18 fighters have never boxed
Lee McFarland, Founder of Behind the Gloves, said most of the 18 participants have never worn boxing gloves. He said each will dedicate months to training and fundraising, and that partners such as Inspired make the €150,000-plus target achievable.
