Newbury Township, Ohio – October 19, 2026 -- Kinetico Incorporated has launched a partnership with national nonprofit Rebuilding Together, starting with a San Antonio home upgrade for a retired police officer and his wife that included a full year of paid water bills.
The project is the first of several planned under "Kinetico Connections Community Impact," the company's new corporate social responsibility initiative. The program combines employee volunteer service with water treatment products for residents and families across the country.
Kinetico installs softener, filtration and reverse osmosis system in San Antonio home
Kinetico employees worked on home improvements, landscaping and painting. Through Kinetico of San Antonio, the home also received upgrades to its water infrastructure and treatment systems:
- a Kinetico softener
- a whole-home filtration system
- a Kinetico reverse osmosis unit for daily drinking water
Kinetico also surprised the couple with a donation covering a full year of water bills.
Kinetico CEO ties water access to health and economic well-being
Ana Garcia, chief executive officer of Kinetico, said corporate social responsibility is not separate from the business. She described access to safe water as essential to good health, a safe home and economic well-being.
Rebuilding Together says 18 repairs cost the same as one new affordable home
Maureen Carlson, president and chief executive officer of Rebuilding Together, said building one new affordable home costs the same as repairing 18 existing ones. She said repairs keep families from losing their homes because they cannot afford critical safety and health fixes. Carlson said corporate partners such as Kinetico help safeguard existing affordable housing.
The San Antonio event is the start of the collaboration. Additional volunteer projects are planned to reach more residents and families.
