Kyndryl Opens Paris Cyber Defense Center, Its First in Europe

PARIS – October 28, 2026 -- Kyndryl (NYSE: KD) has opened its first Cyber Defense Operations Center in Europe, merging network, security and operational intelligence into a single operating model in Paris.

Paris center correlates network, security and AI-enabled operations

The center joins network operations, cybersecurity operations and AI-enabled intelligence. Kyndryl says separating these functions limits visibility, slows response times and raises operational risk. Its unified model relies on shared intelligence, monitoring and coordinated incident response.

Kyndryl Bridge, the company's AI-powered, open-integration digital business platform, sits at the core of the center. It combines operational data, AI and automation in one control plane to flag anomalies earlier and prioritize risks. More than a dozen technology alliances cover threat detection, vulnerability management, security automation, incident response and network monitoring.

DORA and digital sovereignty drive demand for local expertise

Kyndryl is targeting organizations facing the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA), digital sovereignty priorities and rising cyber threats. The Paris site offers local network and cybersecurity expertise backed by delivery capabilities in more than 60 countries.

"This enables our customers to effectively move from reactive monitoring to proactive cyber resilience," said Paul Savill, Senior Vice President and Global Practice Leader for Cyber Resilience and Connectivity.

Modernization survey shows 59% of French firms face disruption

The 2026 Kyndryl State of Modernization Report found that 68% of organizations are increasing their use of at least four technology environments at once. In France, 59% of organizations cite delivery disruption, project delays or operational downtime as challenges in modernization projects.

Center extends Kyndryl's global operations and French investment

The Paris center builds on Kyndryl's Choose France 2025 announcement. It adds to the company's Network Operations Centers and Security Operations Centers across North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific and Latin America. It also complements the recently announced AI Innovations Labs in Luxembourg and Dallas.

Jérôme Calmelet, President and Strategy Director of Kyndryl France, said the site combines Kyndryl's global and local capabilities in one place.
