Amsterdam – October 29, 2026 -- Lapsi Health, the Dutch clinical AI company behind the Keikku platform, has appointed Fabia Tetteroo-Bueno, former Senior Vice President and General Manager of Philips Latin America, to its Board of Directors. She will guide Lapsi's strategy and partnerships as Keikku scales across the region.
First woman to lead Philips in Latin America joins the board
Born in Brazil, Tetteroo-Bueno built her career across three continents at Royal Philips. In 2020 she became head of Philips Latin America, the first woman to lead the company in the region, and steered its healthcare strategy through the COVID-19 pandemic. She later held senior global commercial roles, including Head of Global Sales for the Software business.
Keikku's Latin America push already includes a Santiago office and two collaborations
The appointment follows Keikku's opening of an office in Santiago and its collaborations with SMC and SOMEIC. Latin America is one of Keikku's fastest-growing markets, where the platform leads with three offerings for Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking clinicians:
- Keikku Scribe: ambient AI that converts patient conversations into structured clinical notes in real time.
- Keikku Reference: AI-powered clinical decision support at the point of care.
- Keikku Telemedicina: the same tools for virtual consultations.
Regulatory certifications anchor the regional pitch
Keikku is CE-certified. Its AI Scribe is CE MDR Class I, and the platform combines an FDA-cleared ambient microphone system with an AI Suite for documentation, clinical reference and auscultation. Lapsi, founded in Amsterdam in 2022, is ISO 13485 certified, and Keikku is deployed at leading institutions in Europe and the USA.
Lapsi CEO and co-founder Jhonatan Bringas Dimitriades called her arrival, as Keikku deepens its regional presence, a turning point for the company. Tetteroo-Bueno said she joined because "validated, certified clinical technology belongs in Latin America, not only in the U.S. and Europe."
