Scottsdale – November 04, 2026 -- Mattamy Homes has acquired 59 finished homesites in Legacy Place, an established master-planned community in Glendale, Arizona. The transaction closed Oct. 29, 2026.
Mattamy plans five single-family designs from 1,565 to 2,692 square feet
The homebuilder will offer single- and two-story plans with three to four bedrooms, two to three bathrooms and two-car garages. Don Barrineau, Division President of Mattamy Homes Phoenix, said the site lets the company "add new homes in an established part of the West Valley" where much of the surrounding area is already built out.
Construction starts February 2027, with first move-ins set for June
Home construction is scheduled to begin in February 2027. Sales are expected to open in April 2027, and the first homeowners are anticipated to move in beginning in June 2027.
Legacy Place sits inside Loop 101 near 75th and Northern avenues
The location gives buyers access to employment centers across the West Valley and metropolitan Phoenix. Nearby retail and entertainment destinations include Peoria Crossings, Park West, the P83 Entertainment District and Westgate.
Residents will use Legacy Place's existing amenities: two pools, a playground with covered pavilions, bocce ball courts and open turf areas. Pioneer Community Park, nearby, has a fishing lake, athletic fields, a dog park, a seasonal splash pad and walking paths.
