Midea marks 16 years as leading R290 air conditioner manufacturer
The company has refined compressor performance and safety technology around R290, a refrigerant with near-zero CO2 emissions, no PFAS content, and roughly 10% higher energy efficiency compared to conventional alternatives. A transparent unit displayed at Midea's stand allowed visitors to observe the refrigerant system in operation. The company's PortaSplit unit, showcased in a residential setting, is scheduled to adopt R290 refrigerant in 2027.

Raynor Pro sustains full heating power at minus 25 degrees Celsius
Designed for Nordic climates, Raynor Pro operates at temperatures below -40°C while maintaining 100% heating capacity at -25°C. The unit achieves A+++ energy efficiency ratings for both heating and cooling and received an iF Design Award for its design, developed by Midea's Milan-based team.
