New York – October 20, 2026 -- MoonPay, a crypto payments and stablecoin infrastructure company, is pursuing a strategic collaboration with Dunamu to build global financial infrastructure on digital assets, with stablecoin payments, corporate treasury management and Dunamu's GIWA blockchain as the three focus areas.
MoonPay and Dunamu target stablecoin cross-border payments and fund transfers
The two companies will jointly identify business opportunities in stablecoin-based global payments and fund movement. Drawing on both companies' technology and infrastructure, they will review cases in which digital assets can be used for cross-border payments and fund transfers. They will also examine the business potential of new financial service models.
Corporate finance and treasury operations enter the review scope
MoonPay and Dunamu will assess how digital asset-based financial infrastructure can be applied to corporate finance and treasury operations. The companies plan to identify related business opportunities and usage models for enterprises.
MoonPay's network is to be linked with Dunamu's GIWA blockchain
Expanding the GIWA blockchain ecosystem is the third pillar. Using their respective global ecosystems and partner networks, the companies will explore ways to broaden access to GIWA-based services and digital assets and strengthen the ecosystem's global connectivity. By linking MoonPay's global services and network with Dunamu's blockchain infrastructure, they aim to increase overseas market access for services and assets within GIWA.
Bugeon Lee, Head of APAC at MoonPay, said stablecoins need technology and networks that support not only cross-border payments and transfers but also the real financial operations of businesses.
Partners move to firm up technical and commercial potential
MoonPay and Dunamu plan to firm up the technical and commercial potential of the three collaboration areas: stablecoin-based global payments, corporate finance and treasury management, and GIWA ecosystem expansion. They will continue to identify new business opportunities that draw on both companies' strengths. The announcement sets out no financial terms, timelines or launch dates.
