Pittsburgh – September 11, 2026 -- PNC Bank has launched PNC Workplace Advantage, a workplace banking program targeting employers with 100 or more employees that seeks to boost benefits offerings without adding administrative burden.
PNC ties premium banking tier to workplace direct deposit enrollment
Employees who open a qualifying PNC checking account and set up a qualifying direct deposit method through their employer will be invited to enroll in PNC TotalRewards Silver Tier, a benefit level typically reserved for customers holding at least $25,000 in deposits and investments. The program provides banking rewards, personalized guidance from dedicated financial wellness professionals, virtual or onsite banking access, and financial education through live seminars and on-demand digital resources.
Program expands PNC's existing Financial Wellness Solutions suite
PNC Workplace Advantage sits alongside PNC EarnedIt, education benefits, PNC BeneFit Plus Health Savings and other Benefit Spending Accounts, and retirement services within PNC's broader Financial Wellness Solutions platform. Kaley Keeley, head of Financial Wellness Solutions at PNC, said the launch builds on momentum across the bank's existing offerings to deliver tools and rewards employers can integrate without added complexity.
Bank cites talent retention pressure driving employer demand
Alina Crisi-Wetherell, head of Affiliated Banking at PNC, said financial well-being has become a critical factor in attracting, engaging and retaining talent, and that many organizations are still seeking ways to provide meaningful support without operational overhead. PNC said the launch is informed by ongoing research, including its annual Financial Wellness in the Workplace Report, scheduled to launch later this month, alongside client webinars and educational events.
