Bloomberg Tax, DMI Integrate Platforms for Uncertain Tax Position Reporting

Arlington, Va. – September 14, 2026 -- Bloomberg Tax has partnered with Decision Modeling, Inc. (DMI) to integrate uncertain tax position (UTP) calculations from DMI's Tax Position Manager software directly into Bloomberg Tax Provision, eliminating a manual data-transfer step for corporate tax departments.
Integration targets one of the most complex areas of income tax provision reporting
UTP calculations, governed by ASC 740-10 and FIN 48 standards, are among the most risk-sensitive components of the tax provision process. The collaboration allows shared customers to run DMI's specialized UTP calculations alongside Bloomberg Tax Provision's audit-ready workflow without switching between disconnected systems.
