Pratt & Whitney Invests $25M in Poland Plant, Adds 120 Jobs

Niepołomice, Poland – September 08, 2026 -- Pratt & Whitney, an RTX business, is investing $25 million (PLN 95 million) to expand its precision parts manufacturing facility in Niepołomice, Poland, adding more than 120 jobs and increasing capacity for commercial and military engine components.

Expanded site targets 2028 operational start amid rising engine demand

The expanded facility is expected to become operational in 2028, boosting production of complex tubular assemblies used across multiple engine programs. The Niepołomice site already supplies precision components for the Pratt & Whitney GTF engine powering commercial passenger aircraft, the PW800 for business jets, and the F135 engine used in all variants of the F-35 Lightning II fighter aircraft.
