RESTON – October 27, 2026 -- Swarmer, a provider of autonomous drone software founded in 2023, has agreed to integrate SpiderOak's zero-trust security platform into its swarm control software, targeting uncrewed fleets that operate under electronic warfare conditions, including in Ukraine.

SpiderOak adds authentication and revocation to Swarmer's autonomy stack

Under the agreement, Swarmer will use the SpiderOak platform to provide secure interactions and revocation across its autonomous software. SpiderOak says any-to-any message exchanges within a formation will be authenticated, authorized and encrypted without additional networking controls or certificate management.

The platform combines security controls with guaranteed eventual delivery. Its low size, weight and power (SWaP) requirements and decentralized security model remove the need for additional infrastructure, according to the companies.
