RedHill Buys Rebyota, Clenpiq Rights From Ferring for $12M

Raleigh, N.C. – September 04, 2026 -- RedHill Biopharma Ltd. (Nasdaq: RDHL) has acquired exclusive global commercialization rights to Ferring Pharmaceuticals' Rebyota and exclusive U.S. rights to Clenpiq, two FDA-approved gastrointestinal drugs that together generated approximately $37.5 million in 2025 net sales.

RedHill pays $12 million upfront, fully funded by prior Talicia sale

Under the agreement, RedHill paid Ferring $12 million upfront plus tiered royalties on net sales and potential future milestones. The payment was fully covered by RedHill's previously announced $18 million divestiture of Talicia, which also carries up to $35 million in potential additional upside. Ferring retains Rebyota's manufacturing facilities and will continue supplying the product through the term of the agreement.

Rebyota generated $16.9 million in 2025 U.S. sales treating recurrent C. diff infection

Rebyota, a single-dose fecal microbiota transplant approved by the FDA in 2022 and by Health Canada in 2025, holds Breakthrough Therapy and Orphan Drug designations, with patent protections potentially running to 2036. It serves roughly 600 active accounts and has demonstrated more than a 70% success rate at preventing recurrent C. diff infection, a condition causing an estimated 3.6 million cases globally each year and 30,000 U.S. deaths annually. Ninety-three percent of covered lives have payer access to the drug, including 43% after a first recurrence.

Clenpiq delivered $20.6 million in 2025 sales with minimal promotion

Clenpiq, a ready-to-drink, low-volume bowel preparation for colonoscopy, reached $20.6 million in U.S. net sales in 2025 despite limited marketing spend. More than 108 million commercially covered lives have unrestricted access, alongside 23 million Medicare Part D lives. The product addresses a market supporting more than 15 million U.S. colonoscopies annually, a figure rising due to expanded screening guidelines now starting at age 45.
