Shenzhen Expo to Debut TGV Glass Substrate Line, AI+AR Glasses Zone

Shenzhen – September 10, 2026 -- C-TOUCH & DISPLAY SHENZHEN 2026 will occupy 180,000 square meters across four halls at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center from October 27-29, drawing over 3,600 exhibitors and 170,000 professional visitors, including more than 5,000 overseas buyers.

The 29th edition of the show introduces three dedicated technology zones targeting emerging display-photonics convergence, according to organizer RX Kuozhan, a joint venture between Reed Exhibitions and Kuozhan Exhibition Services Shanghai established in 2015.

Micro LED optical interconnects target next-generation data centers

The Micro LED AI Optical Interconnection & Glass Substrate Advanced Packaging Technology Zone will feature Micro LED optical interconnect chips, CPO optical-module glass substrates and TGV equipment aimed at high-speed optical communication and data-center infrastructure. The zone brings together display, photonics and AI computing suppliers to demonstrate manufacturing pathways for advanced semiconductor packaging.

AI+AR smart glasses zone links optics, chips and device makers

A separate AI+AR Smart Glasses Zone will assemble companies spanning optical display modules, chips, materials and complete-device development. Organizers say the segment is positioning applications in AR/VR, intelligent mobility, industrial inspection and healthcare as spatial computing and lightweight wearables converge with AI interaction systems.

Live TGV manufacturing line to accelerate supply-chain matchmaking

A TGV Glass Substrate Manufacturing Demonstration Line will run on-site, showing the full through-glass via process including thin-glass processing and precision manufacturing steps. The initiative is designed to connect equipment suppliers, material providers, semiconductor packaging firms and end users directly on the show floor.

Broader program covers Mini/Micro LED, automotive displays and 20-plus forums

Beyond the three new zones, the exhibition will cover Mini/Micro LED, OLED, commercial and automotive displays, smart cockpits, electronic paper, touch technologies and consumer electronics manufacturing. More than 20 professional forums will run alongside the show floor, addressing technology roadmaps and commercialization timelines for Micro LED optical communication, TGV substrates and AI+AR smart glasses.

RX Kuozhan positions the event as a sourcing platform linking international buyers with Asia's display and semiconductor supply chains through on-site matchmaking, one-to-one sourcing meetings and expert-led discussions.
