Stamford – November 04, 2026 -- Spectrum Business has launched a fully managed Cisco Secure Networking service backed by a 100% uptime SLA, built on Cisco 8000 Series Secure Routers and Talos Threat Intelligence integrations. The company describes the offering as among the first of its kind in North America.
Spectrum Business sells the service as a monthly subscription covering hardware, licensing and operations
Eligible customers pay a monthly fee that covers all hardware, software licensing, network design, installation, configuration and ongoing updates. IT departments can hand off routine support and redirect staff to strategic projects.
Spectrum Business was one of the first U.S.-based service providers to certify and bring the 8000 Series Secure Routers to market for enterprise use. It received an early adopter award at the Cisco Partner Summit.
Edge security and post-quantum cryptography readiness target AI-driven network demands
The service combines integrated edge security with post-quantum cryptography capabilities on supported Cisco 8000 Series Secure Routers. It brings NetOps and SecOps together through unified visibility and control.
Customers get visibility into security configurations and network observability across all locations. They can make changes themselves or leave management to Spectrum Business.
Keith Dardis, Executive Vice President of Spectrum Business, said the team "designs, secures and runs the network day to day," and that customers can set the level of Spectrum's involvement.
Fiber, broadband, 5G and satellite connectivity can be bundled with round-the-clock support
Customers can combine the managed service with dedicated fiber, broadband, 5G or satellite connections. Support runs 24/7/365 through dedicated certified technicians, local account teams and phone and online channels, enriched with Agentic Ops.
Lee Peterson, VP, Branch and WAN Network at Cisco, said the 8000 Series Secure Routers power the managed offering and reflect the companies' partnership.
