Stellantis Convenes Nearly 300 European Suppliers to Align Execution Behind faSTLAne 2030

SHERIDAN, WYOMING — July 03, 2026 — Stellantis brought together close to 300 suppliers in Paris for its Europe Supplier Convention, pairing them with roughly 100 company buyers and managers alongside regional and global purchasing leadership. The event centered on faSTLAne 2030, Stellantis' long-term strategy for product renewal and profitable growth across Europe, and pressed suppliers on the operational discipline needed to hit that roadmap. Leaders used the day to walk through vehicle launch plans and brand strategy through the end of the decade. The gathering signals that Stellantis is treating supplier execution as a determining factor in whether faSTLAne 2030 succeeds on schedule.

Strategy Briefing Doubles as an Execution Mandate

Rather than a one-way presentation, the convention combined strategic updates with a direct message about accountability. Stellantis leaders detailed the European business strategy, launch roadmap, and brand plans, then tied that information to an expectation of close collaboration across the value chain. The structure put suppliers in the room for decisions that affect their own production planning, rather than leaving them to react after launch dates are set.

Emanuele Cappellano, COO for Enlarged Europe & European Brands and Head of Stellantis Pro One, framed the stakes for the region directly.

"Europe is entering a pivotal period as we execute our long-term strategy and bring an exciting wave of products and technologies to market. Success depends on our ability to execute together. Our suppliers are essential partners in that journey, helping us deliver the quality, innovation, and competitiveness our customers expect. By working as one team, we can strengthen our performance and position Stellantis for long-term success in Europe."

Execution Gets Treated as a Two-Way Commitment

A recurring point throughout the day was that hitting faSTLAne 2030's targets depends on operational discipline from both sides of the relationship, not just internal Stellantis performance. Leaders pointed to early collaboration, transparent communication, and disciplined execution as the mechanisms that keep product launches on track. That framing matters for suppliers weighing how much visibility they get into Stellantis' planning process before commitments are finalized.

Monica Genovese, Chief Purchasing Officer at Stellantis, connected that expectation to the company's own commitments toward suppliers.

"Creating value starts with strong partnerships. Our suppliers are critical contributors to every vehicle, every launch, and every customer experience. We are committed to being a Customer of Choice by strengthening engagement, listening to feedback, and working together to solve challenges. The path to achieving our objectives is built on trust, accountability, and a shared commitment to execution."

Quality Gets Positioned as a Shared Line Item, Not a Checkpoint

Stellantis used the convention to push quality further upstream in supplier relationships, framing it as continuous rather than something verified at a single inspection stage. Executives argued that supplier decisions shape the customer experience from the moment a vehicle launches through years of ownership and service.

Stéphane Dubs, Senior Vice President of Purchasing for Enlarged Europe, made the point explicit.

"Quality is a shared commitment across our entire ecosystem; it is not the responsibility of only one team or one organization. Every decision we make impacts the customer experience. Together with our suppliers, we must continue to raise the bar on cost competitiveness, quality, responsiveness, and execution to strengthen customer loyalty and ensure the success of our brands."

Direct Access Replaces Layered Communication

Beyond the formal presentations, the convention gave suppliers direct time with Stellantis buyers, purchasing leaders, and senior executives from Europe and other regions. That kind of access is not incidental. Stellantis has been building out standing forums — Supplier Advisory Councils, innovation events, and executive engagement sessions — specifically to pull suppliers into business decisions earlier than a typical procurement cycle would allow.

A Recurring Forum, Not a One-Time Gathering

Stellantis describes the Europe Supplier Convention as a standing engagement forum rather than a single event tied to one strategy announcement. That positioning suggests the company expects to keep using large-scale supplier gatherings as a tool for aligning its supply base as faSTLAne 2030 moves from planning into execution over the coming years.
