Sticker Mule Generated $2.7B for New York Economy in a Decade

Amsterdam, N.Y. – October 11, 2026 -- Sticker Mule generated more than $2.7 billion in economic activity for New York State between 2016 and 2025, according to an independent study by Epsilon Economics released by the company. The analysis covers the direct, indirect and induced effects of the custom-printing manufacturer's operations.

Study credits Sticker Mule with 9,500 year-long equivalent jobs and $681.5 million in wages

Of the 9,500 year-long equivalent jobs, 5,501 are directly at Sticker Mule. More than 4,000 are follow-on positions in real estate, employment services, warehousing, security, restaurants, hospitals and other industries across the state. Wages tied to those jobs total $681.5 million.

Company activity delivered $49.5 million in New York State tax revenue

The tax total includes $18 million in income tax, $15 million in corporate tax and $6.2 million in sales tax.

Direct spending accounts for $1.7 billion of the total impact

The $2.7 billion total breaks down into three components:

  • $1.7 billion in direct spending on wages and operations.
  • $642 million in indirect spending on raw materials, equipment and shipping across the supply chain.
  • $387 million in induced spending by employees and partner businesses on housing, dining, shopping and entertainment.
Revenue rose from under $25 million in 2016 to more than $1.4 billion cumulatively

Average annual growth ran at roughly 50 percent between 2016 and 2021. Sticker Mule has invested more than $81 million in New York facilities and equipment since 2015, including buildings, land, production machinery and manufacturing equipment in Amsterdam.

Manufacturing captures $1.7 billion of the sector benefit, with printing alone at $1.6 billion

The services sector gained $686 million in activity, and wholesale and retail sectors gained more than $188 million. The printing industry accounted for more than $1.6 billion of the total.

CEO Anthony Constantino said Upstate New York had long been told manufacturing was finished there, and that Sticker Mule "proved otherwise."

Epsilon Economics used IMPLAN modeling for the report

The report, The Economic Impact of Sticker Mule on the State of New York, 2016 to 2025, was authored by Ryan Smart, Joe Hale and Jeremy De Gracia. Epsilon Economics has conducted impact studies for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the Los Angeles Sports and Entertainment Commission, covering the Oscars, the College Football Playoff National Championship and the FIFA World Cup. It has also studied Super Bowl LVI and the NBA All-Star Game.

The study also cites Sticker Mule's contributions to Amsterdam Youth Baseball and the Amsterdam Youth Soccer Club. Sticker Mule serves customers in more than 70 countries from its Amsterdam headquarters and additional manufacturing sites in Gaffney, South Carolina, and Pisa, Italy.
